SPSMAIL Setup
1. Download SPSMAIL:

A) For Windows please proceed to the download USB drivers for your satellite phone and compelete the USB setup process before installing SPSMAIL (Instructions Below).  SPSMAIL will auto detect satellite phones connected to your computer during installation making the setup easier. 
 
B) For Apple Mac computers the USB drivers are not needed and you may proceed with connecting your powering up your satellite phone, connecting the USB cable and installing SPSMAIL. 
 
3. During the installation you will be prompted for your User Account info and to select POP/SMTP or Console. For all beginners please select Console. Please enter your account information and continue with the installation. If you do not have account credentials already simply enter your desired Email, Name, Password, Sat # and continue with the installation. 
 
4. SPSMAIL should auto detect the satellite phone/modem connected and prompt you to select the correct modem (satellite phone) and install it. 
 
5. If SPSMAIL does not auto detect the satellite phone you will need to click on Setup / Calling / Add new Location and select Find Modem. 
SPSMAIL should detect the sat phone/modem and prompt you to install it. 
 
6. SPSMAIL should now be configured to work with your satellite phone. 
 
Test SPSMAIL and your Satellite Phone
1. Disconnect from all WIFI or LAN Internet connections
2. Make sure your satellite phone is registered on the network, has signal and is connected to the computer
3. Click on the "Call" link to start the dial up call to the SPSMAIL server to test your connection. 
 
 
Iridium Extreme USB Setup
2. Extract ZIP folder to your Desktop or other familiar location 
3. Connect the Iridium Extreme Satellite Phone USB cable to your computer and power on the satellite phone
4. When Windows New Device Wizard appears you will be able to select the folder where the drivers are located. Please select the Desktop folder that was extracted from the downloaded file. 
5. The Iridium Extreme phone is now added to your computer as a USB device.
6. Obtain the COM port for the Satellite Phone by clicking on the Start Menu / Right Click on Computer / Select Manage
7. From the Device Manager Window expand the Port category and note the COM port assigned to the Iridium satellite phone. 
 
Iridium 9555 USB Setup
2. Extract ZIP folder to your Desktop or other familiar location 
3. Connect the Iridium 9555 Satellite Phone USB cable to your computer and power on the satellite phone
4. When Windows New Device Wizard appears you will be able to select the folder where the drivers are located. Please select the Desktop folder that was extracted from the downloaded file. 
5. The Iridium 9555 phone is now added to your computer as a USB device.
6. Obtain the COM port for the Satellite Phone by clicking on the Start Menu / Right Click on Computer / Select Manage
7. From the Device Manager Window expand the Port category and note the COM port assigned to the Iridium satellite phone. 
 
Inmarsat IsatPhone Pro USB Setup
 
2. Extract the ZIP folder to your Desktop of other familiar location 
3. In the extracted folder locate the Setup file and double click to start the USB driver installation. 
4. After the drivers are installed a message will appear confirming the successful installation. 
5. Obtain the COM port for the Satellite Phone by clicking on the Start Menu / Right Click on Computer / Select Manage
6. From the Device Manager Window expand the Port category and note the COM port assigned to the Iridium satellite phone.
