Description
Vehicle Power for ICOM Chargers
The CP-23L connects a compatible ICOM charging cradle to a standard 12V vehicle accessory socket. It allows radio batteries to be recharged from a car or other compatible vehicle when AC outlet power is unavailable.
Fused Power Connection
The cable delivers 12 VDC at up to 4 A and includes a 4 A fuse for circuit protection. Its 1.8-meter length provides enough reach between the vehicle power socket and a nearby charging cradle.
Charger Compatibility
ICOM lists the CP-23L for use with numerous compatible desktop and rapid chargers, including the BC-218 Bluetooth charging cradle. Other supported models include the BC-191, BC-193, BC-213, BC-219N, BC-225, BC-227, and BC-240, depending on the radio and battery configuration.
The cable uses a 5.5 mm outer-diameter and 2.1 mm inner-diameter DC plug. Charger compatibility should be confirmed by model number before ordering.

The CP-23L is intended for 12V electrical systems. It should not be connected directly to an unsupported 24V vehicle outlet.
