Description
Flexible Indoor Placement
The magnetic base holds the antenna on a compatible steel surface without permanent mounting hardware. The attached 1 m cable allows it to be moved away from the router and placed where indoor cellular reception is more suitable.
Omnidirectional Reception
The antenna receives cellular signals from multiple horizontal directions, reducing the need to point it toward a specific tower. Its rated gain is 3 dBi. Actual connection quality depends on local carrier coverage, building construction, interference, and antenna placement.
SMA Router Connection
An SMA male connector provides direct compatibility with Peplink cellular equipment using a matching SMA female antenna port. The number of ACW-808 antennas required depends on the router: a single-modem SISO configuration may use one, while LTE MIMO equipment commonly requires multiple cellular antennas.
