ACR 55W 24V Replacement Halogen Lamp for RCL-100 Series Searchlights (6003)
Description
Replacement Lamp for 24V RCL-100 Searchlights
This lamp replaces a failed or worn bulb in compatible 24V ACR RCL-100 series searchlights. ACR identifies part number 6003 as the 24V replacement lamp used in the RCL-100, RCL-100A, RCL-100B, RCL-100C, and RCL-100D.
The 12V version of the searchlight requires a different lamp, ACR part number 6001.
Twin-Lamp RCL-100D Configuration
The RCL-100D searchlight uses two high-intensity 55-watt halogen lamps with parabolic reflectors. Together, the two lamps allow the searchlight to produce up to 200,000 peak candela.
ACR sells part number 6003 as an individual replacement lamp. When servicing the searchlight, inspect both lamps and replace the quantity required for the repair.
Installation Considerations
The searchlight must be disconnected from power and allowed to cool before the housing is opened. Avoid touching the glass portion of the halogen lamp with bare hands, as oils left on the surface can shorten lamp life.
Installation should follow the applicable ACR RCL-100 service instructions. The replacement lamp does not include the reflector assembly, searchlight housing, controller, or installation tools.
Compatibility with Halogen Models
This replacement is for older halogen RCL-100 series searchlights operating at 24V. It is not compatible with the RCL-100 LED model, which uses an integrated nine-LED array rather than replaceable halogen bulbs.
