ACR Ocean Signal EPIRB1 Pro Cat 1 EPIRB 702S-03401
Description
Automatic Emergency Alerting
The rescueME EPIRB1 Pro is built to automatically summon help during a serious maritime emergency. Housed inside a Category I Automatic Release Housing, the beacon is designed to release if a vessel sinks, float to the surface, and automatically activate without requiring manual intervention.
Once activated, it transmits a unique 406 MHz distress signal through the Cospas-Sarsat satellite network while its integrated 66-channel GPS receiver provides precise location information. A dedicated 121.5 MHz homing transmitter then helps nearby rescue aircraft and vessels locate the beacon during the final stages of a rescue operation. Best of all, there are no ongoing subscription fees required to use the global distress system.
Designed for Offshore Safety
The EPIRB1 Pro combines compact dimensions with rugged construction suitable for demanding marine environments. Despite being one of the world's smallest Category I EPIRBs, it delivers long operating life, powerful distress transmissions, and automatic deployment capabilities expected from professional offshore safety equipment.
The supplied Automatic Release Housing also includes retrofit mounting adapters, making it easier to replace several older EPIRB models without drilling new mounting holes during installation.
Ideal for Commercial and Recreational Vessels
The rescueME EPIRB1 Pro is suitable for vessels that require automatic emergency deployment and dependable global rescue alerting, including:
- Commercial fishing vessels
- Offshore sailing yachts
- Recreational powerboats
- Commercial workboats
- Long-distance cruising vessels
- Government and research vessels
Its automatic deployment capability provides additional peace of mind for crews operating offshore where emergency situations can develop rapidly.
Long-Term Reliability
The EPIRB1 Pro is engineered to remain ready for years with minimal maintenance. Its lithium battery has a 10-year replacement interval, while the beacon is designed to continue transmitting for more than 48 hours after activation, exceeding international performance requirements.
Two high-intensity LED strobes improve visibility during day and night rescues, while the durable waterproof housing is built to withstand years of marine exposure.
