Description
Twin HID Searchlight Beam
Each 35W metal-halide HID lamp produces more than 500,000 candela. Together, they provide an effective output of 1 million candela with a narrow beam designed for viewing objects and markers at a distance.
Point Pad Remote Control
The URP-102 Point Pad controls the lamps and directs the searchlight left, right, up, or down. Two rotation speeds allow the operator to scan an area quickly or make slower directional adjustments.
Surface- and flush-mounting components are included for the Point Pad. Up to three Point Pads can operate through one URC-300 Master Controller when additional control stations are required.
Automatic Park and Exercise Functions
The Self-Park function returns the searchlight to its selected forward or aft position when the lamps are switched off.
When activated, the XRCiZ function automatically moves the light every 30 days. This periodic movement helps keep bearings, motors, drive mechanisms, and electrical contacts operational during extended periods without regular use.
Marine Construction
The searchlight uses a triple-primed and sealed marine-grade cast-aluminum housing with tempered glass. Nylon and phenolic washers, aluminized stainless-steel screws, and insulating lubricant help protect the assembly in saltwater environments.

Power and Installation
The system operates from 12V or 24V DC without modification. Installation requires a fused 12V DC, 30A supply or a fused 24V DC, 15A supply.
The searchlight includes a 15-foot wiring harness, while the Point Pad communicates with the Master Controller through the supplied 30-foot RG-59 coaxial cable. Both the Point Pad and Master Controller should be installed in protected locations with appropriate sealing around mounting openings.
