Combined Frame and Skirt Assembly

The V5-3002 combines the air-conditioner base frame and radome skirt in one package. The frame provides the supporting structure for the cooling installation, while the skirt completes the interface around the air-conditioner opening in the v150NX radome.

This combined configuration can simplify sourcing compared with ordering the frame and skirt as separate components.

Part of the v150NX Cooling System

The V5-3002 does not provide active cooling by itself. It is intended to support the installation of a compatible external air conditioner and associated ducting.

A complete installation may also require:

• External air-conditioning unit
• v150NX-compatible duct kit
• Electrical supply and control wiring
• Condensate drainage
• Mounting, sealing, and connection hardware

Intellian lists an air-conditioner base frame as an available v150NX option and recommends cooling for higher-power BUC configurations to help maintain suitable system operating conditions.

Model-Specific Compatibility

The V5-3002 is designed specifically for the Intellian v150NX, a 1.5-meter maritime VSAT antenna platform supporting Ku- and Ka-band configurations and GEO, MEO, and LEO satellite networks.

It should not be assumed compatible with other Intellian antenna sizes. The antenna model, air-conditioner type, and complete cooling-system parts list should be confirmed before ordering.

Professional Marine Installation

Installation should be completed by qualified maritime fabrication, HVAC, and satellite-communications personnel. The frame and skirt must be correctly aligned, secured, and sealed to maintain the intended fit around the radome and air-conditioning assembly.
