Structural Base for Antenna Cooling

The V5-3020 provides the frame used to integrate an external air-conditioning system with the Intellian v150NX antenna enclosure. It creates the supporting structure around the cooling-system installation and is supplied as the frame only.

The frame does not contain a compressor, fan, thermostat, ducting, or other active cooling equipment.

Part of a Complete Cooling Assembly

The V5-3020 is designed to work as one component within a larger v150NX thermal-management installation. Depending on the system configuration, the completed assembly may require:

• V5-3021 air-conditioner frame trim ring or radome skirt
• Compatible external air-conditioning unit
• Duct kit
• Mounting and sealing hardware
• Electrical supply and control wiring
• Condensate drainage

Intellian lists an air-conditioner base frame as an available v150NX option and recommends cooling for higher-power BUC configurations to help maintain suitable system operating conditions.

Model-Specific Compatibility

The V5-3020 is designed specifically for the Intellian v150NX, a 1.5-meter maritime VSAT antenna platform. It should not be assumed compatible with other Intellian antenna sizes or air-conditioner installations, even where the external cooling equipment appears similar.

Both the antenna model and the complete cooling-system parts list should be verified before ordering.

Professional Marine Installation

Installation should be completed by qualified maritime fabrication, HVAC, and satellite-communications personnel. The frame must be correctly positioned, secured, sealed, and aligned with the radome skirt and ducting to support the intended cooling arrangement.
