Description
Pole-Mount Installation
The bracket secures the SAILOR FleetBroadband above-deck unit to a compatible pole or mast. This allows the antenna to be placed in an elevated position with the visibility needed for reliable Inmarsat satellite tracking.
SAILOR Antenna Compatibility
The mount is designed for the above-deck antenna units used with:
- SAILOR 150 FleetBroadband
- SAILOR 250 FleetBroadband
Both systems use compact mechanically tracking marine antennas, and their installation documentation recommends a dedicated mast-mounting arrangement.
Installation Considerations
The mounting location should provide the antenna with an unobstructed view of the sky while maintaining the required separation from radar equipment, other transmitters, and personnel.
