Waterproof Handset Protection

The Aquapac glove provides an additional waterproof barrier around the Iridium 9505A. Its sealed construction protects the handset during heavy rain, spray, accidental immersion, and exposure to dust or sand.

The case is rated IPX8 and designed for immersion to a depth of 10 meters (30 feet) when the closure is properly sealed and undamaged.

Phone Operation Through the Case

The flexible clear material allows access to the handset’s keypad and controls without removing the phone. Calls can be made and received through the case without materially interfering with sound or the satellite signal.

The Iridium antenna must still be extended and positioned with a clear view of the sky for reliable satellite communication.

Reinforced Construction

The case is designed for regular professional and field use. Reinforced material and high-frequency-welded seams provide added strength while maintaining enough flexibility to operate the phone inside.

The extended antenna section accommodates the Iridium 9505A handset while also providing a convenient grab point.

Hands-Free Carrying

An adjustable three-way harness is included for carrying the protected phone securely on the chest or shoulder. This keeps the handset accessible while leaving both hands available for work, rescue activities, boating, or equipment handling.
