Description
Protection for Active Antenna Systems
The ASE-LA01 helps protect the active antenna, docking station, and other connected equipment from electrical surges entering through the outdoor antenna cable. It is installed in line with the coaxial downlead before the cable reaches the indoor system components.
N-Type Coaxial Connection
The arrestor uses N-type RF connections designed for the coaxial cables supplied with ASE Premium Powered Antenna systems. The official installation diagram places the ASE-LA01 between the outdoor antenna cable and the breakout box assembly.
Required Earth Ground
A direct connection to an appropriate earth-ground system is required for the arrestor to divert surge energy away from the connected Iridium equipment. Installation should follow applicable electrical codes and site grounding practices.
ASE Premium Antenna Compatibility
