Single-Bay Rapid Charging

The BC-241 is designed to rapidly charge one Icom BP-300 lithium-ion battery at a time. It provides a dedicated charging location for IC-SAT100 users who need a simple desktop solution rather than a multi-bay fleet charger.

Charge the Radio or Spare Battery

The charging cradle accepts the IC-SAT100 with its BP-300 battery installed. It can also charge a detached BP-300 battery, allowing a spare pack to be prepared while another battery remains in service.

LED Charge Indicator

A built-in LED provides a clear visual indication of charging status. This makes it easier to confirm that the battery is correctly seated and charging before the radio is returned to field use.

AC Power Supply

The charger operates from a 12 VDC input and is supplied with the Icom BC-242 AC adapter. The BC-242 uses a universal plug arrangement for operation from compatible wall outlets in different regions.

Operating Conditions

Icom specifies an operating temperature range of 10°C to 45°C / 50°F to 113°F. Charging outside this range may be delayed or stopped to protect the battery. The charger should be used indoors in a dry, ventilated location.
