Private Calling Through the Dock

The RST755i allows calls to be handled through a traditional handset instead of the docking station’s loudspeaker. This provides clearer, more private communication in shared cabins, vehicle interiors, offices, control rooms, and other locations where hands-free audio may be distracting or inappropriate.

Automatic Answer and Hang Up

The handset cup includes automatic sensing. Removing the handset from the cup answers an incoming call, while returning it to the cup ends the call. This keeps operation simple and avoids the need to reach for the dock or satellite phone controls during routine calls.

Flexible Left- or Right-Side Mounting

The supplied bracket can be positioned on either the left or right side of the docking station. This makes it easier to fit the handset around dashboards, consoles, bulkheads, desks, and other restricted installation spaces.

Extended Coiled Cord

The handset includes a coiled cord that stretches to approximately 1.8 meters, or 6 feet. This gives the user room to move within the immediate work area while helping keep excess cable contained when the handset is returned to its cup.

Straightforward Dock Connection

The handset connects to the docking station through a 3.5 mm connector. It draws the required operating power through the dock and does not need a separate battery, charger, or pairing process.
