ACR C-Strobe™ H2O, LED Life Jacket Emergency Signal, wateractivated, USCG, SOLAS Needs AA Batteries Bulk (3964)
Description
Automatic Water Activation
The C-Strobe H₂O can be armed for automatic activation when immersed in fresh or salt water. This allows the light to begin signaling without requiring the wearer to locate and operate a switch after entering the water.
The light can also be activated and deactivated manually using its push-button control. This allows it to be tested, used before entering the water, or switched off after recovery.
Three Signaling Modes
The C-Strobe H₂O provides three operating modes:
- Flashing strobe
- Steady-on light
- SOS distress pattern
Strobe mode is intended for long-duration visual signaling, while steady-on mode can provide continuous illumination during close-range recovery or equipment handling. SOS mode automatically flashes the internationally recognized Morse-code distress sequence.
Long Battery Life
The light operates on two standard AA batteries that can be replaced by the user. In strobe mode, it provides more than 120 hours of typical operation at 30°C (86°F) and more than 100 hours at -1°C (30°F).
Reverse-battery protection helps protect the electronics if the batteries are installed incorrectly. Batteries are required but are not included with this bulk-packaged version.
Compact Life Jacket Installation
The slim housing can be carried inside an inflatable life jacket or attached externally to webbing, straps, and other safety equipment. Integrated flexible lashing loops provide attachment points for a suitable strap, clip, or lanyard.
This bulk version contains the light only. The PFD clip, lanyard, and hook-and-loop attachment strap supplied with the carded version are not included.
Waterproof and Approved for Marine Use
The C-Strobe H₂O has an impact-resistant housing and is waterproof after testing for 24 hours at a depth of 1 m (3.3 ft.). It is designed for marine safety, paddling, fishing, sailing, commercial work, and other activities where a compact personal distress light is required.
The light carries USCG, SOLAS, CE, and Transport Canada approvals. It is a visual signaling device and does not transmit an emergency alert or GPS position.
