Description
Extended Antenna Placement
This cable provides up to 8 meters of separation between the antenna unit and the connected EXPLORER terminal. It is suited to installations where the antenna must be mounted in a location with a clear view of the sky while the terminal remains accessible inside a vehicle, cabin, shelter, or working area.
Compatible EXPLORER Systems
The cable is listed for use with the Cobham EXPLORER 325 and EXPLORER 727 in-motion vehicle terminals, as well as the portable EXPLORER 710 BGAN HDR terminal. Compatibility should be confirmed against the terminal and antenna configuration before installation.
Installation
Both ends are fitted with TNC male connectors, allowing the cable to connect directly between compatible TNC interfaces. Cable routing should avoid sharp bends, excessive tension, crushing, and exposure to moving vehicle components.
