Cobham Explorer 710 BGAN Antenna Cable - 30 Meter
Description
Separate Antenna and Terminal Placement
The EXPLORER 710 normally uses a short cable between its detachable antenna and transceiver. This 30-meter cable replaces that short connection, allowing the two parts of the terminal to be positioned farther apart.
The antenna can be placed where it has a clearer view of the serving Inmarsat satellite, while the transceiver remains near computers, phones, networking equipment, and its power source.
Protected Indoor Operation
Separating the antenna from the transceiver is useful when the best antenna position is on a roof, outside a shelter, or away from the main work area. The extended cable allows personnel to operate the terminal from a more controlled location without placing the complete EXPLORER 710 system outdoors.
Dedicated EXPLORER 710 Compatibility
This cable is designed only for the Cobham EXPLORER 710 antenna and transceiver assembly. It uses TNC male connectors at both ends and should not be treated as a general-purpose BGAN antenna cable for other EXPLORER terminal models.
The cable does not include an antenna, transceiver, or BGAN service plan.
