The OPC-254L provides a wired connection between the ICOM IP501H and a compatible regulated DC power supply. It can help keep the radio operating during extended use at a dispatch desk, service bench, mobile workstation, or other location with access to DC power. Fused Cable Design

The cable includes an inline fuse for electrical protection. It measures 1.5 meters, or 4.9 feet, providing enough reach for nearby power supplies without adding excessive cable around the operating area.

Power Source Requirements

The OPC-254L is intended for use with an appropriately regulated DC source. The power supply voltage and polarity should be confirmed before connection to avoid radio damage or reduced performance. Installation should follow the IP501H and power-source instructions.
