Description
Connects the Cooling Unit to the Radome
The VC1-2114 provides the ducting required to carry conditioned air from a compatible Dometic air-conditioning unit into the antenna enclosure. It is a passive installation kit and does not generate cooled air by itself.
The duct arrangement allows the active air-conditioning equipment to remain outside the radome while cooled air is delivered to the antenna electronics and RF equipment.
Part of the VC1-2115 Cooling Package
Intellian lists the VC1-2114 as a Dometic air-conditioning duct kit. It is used alongside the VC1-2113 Dometic air-conditioning unit, with the two components sold together under the VC1-2115 kit number.
The complete installation may also require an antenna-specific air-conditioner frame or skirt, electrical connections, condensate drainage, sealing materials, and mounting hardware.
