Recessed Control Unit Installation

The flush mount positions the Lars Thrane control unit within a prepared opening in the vessel’s console or panel. This reduces how far the unit projects into the operating area and provides a clean, integrated installation.

It is a practical alternative to the standard bracket mount in wheelhouses, navigation stations, and other locations where panel space and rear clearance allow the control unit to be recessed.

Compatible Lars Thrane Systems

The 91-100772 flush mount is compatible with control units used across the Lars Thrane LT-31xx, LT-41xx, and LT-42xx system families. Confirmed applications include:

• LT-3100 Iridium Communications System
• LT-3100S GMDSS System
• LT-4100 Certus 100 System
• LT-4100S GMDSS Certus 100 System
• LT-4200 Certus 200 System
• Compatible LT-42xx GMDSS systems

The control unit model should be confirmed before cutting the installation panel.

Panel-Mounting Requirements

Flush installation requires an accurately prepared panel opening and adequate clearance behind the console for the control unit, cables, and connector access. The applicable Lars Thrane installation manual should be used for the cutout dimensions, mounting pattern, and cable-clearance requirements.

The location should allow the display to remain readable and the controls accessible while protecting the rear connections from strain, moisture, and accidental contact.

Separate Installation Accessory

The flush mount is an optional accessory and may not be supplied with the standard or basic Lars Thrane system package. Systems commonly include a bracket mount as the standard installation option, with this flush-mount kit ordered separately when a recessed installation is preferred.
