Portable Power for Small Devices

The Flip 24 provides up to 10.5W through its USB-A output. It is designed for phones and other compact electronics rather than laptops or high-power equipment.

Typical uses include charging:

Goal Zero estimates approximately two smartphone recharges, three action-camera recharges, two to five headlamp recharges, or about a 50% tablet boost. Actual results vary by device and operating conditions.

Built-In USB Recharging

The integrated flip-out USB input plugs directly into a powered USB port, removing the need for a separate charging cable for the power bank itself. A full recharge takes approximately four hours from a suitable USB power source.

Solar Charging Compatibility

The Flip 24 can be recharged from compatible Goal Zero Nomad solar panels. Goal Zero lists an estimated recharge time of 8–16 hours with the Nomad 5 and 4–8 hours with the Nomad 10 under suitable sunlight. Solar charging times depend heavily on weather, panel angle, temperature, and shade.

Simple Operation

There is no separate power switch required for normal charging. Connect a device to the USB output to begin supplying power. Integrated indicator lights show the approximate remaining battery level.

The Flip 24 also supports pass-through operation, allowing it to charge a connected device while the power bank itself is being recharged.

Compact Everyday Design

At 4.6 ounces and less than four inches tall, the Flip 24 fits easily in a pocket, backpack, travel bag, or equipment case. It is well suited for short trips and everyday backup power where carrying a larger power bank would be unnecessary.
