Portable 200W Solar Charging

The Nomad 200 provides up to 200W of rated solar output for recharging compatible portable power stations. It is suited to camping, overlanding, mobile work, remote equipment support, and backup power setups where a rigid solar panel would be difficult to transport or store.

Actual charging performance depends on sunlight, temperature, season, elevation, panel angle, and the input limits of the connected power station.

Foldable Four-Panel Design

Four monocrystalline solar sections fold down to approximately one-quarter of the panel’s deployed length. The protective fabric enclosure and carrying handle simplify transport, while the integrated mesh compartment stores the charging cable when the panel is packed away.

The panel weighs 10 kg / 22 lbs., so it is portable for vehicle-based use but is better suited to car camping, RVs, field operations, and temporary installations than backpacking.

Adjustable Placement

Built-in support legs hold the panel at an angle during charging and fold flat against the rear when not in use. Each leg includes a stake-down loop, and additional hanging loops allow the panel to be secured to compatible structures such as vehicles or tents.

For the best output, the panel should face direct sunlight and be repositioned as the sun moves.

High Power Port and USB Charging

The integrated High Power Port supplies up to 200W to compatible Goal Zero power stations. A separate USB-A output provides up to 12W for charging phones, power banks, and other small USB devices directly from the panel.

Multiple Nomad 200 panels can be combined using the optional Goal Zero 4X High Power Port Combiner. The connected power station’s maximum voltage, current, and wattage limits should always be checked before combining panels.

Outdoor Use and Storage

Goal Zero describes the Nomad series as weather-resistant, but the fabric enclosure can wear more quickly if the panel is left outdoors permanently. Connected power stations and other electronics should remain protected from rain, snow, and dust.
