Multiple Ways to Power Your Devices
The Sherpa 100AC supports several charging methods in one portable unit. Two USB-C Power Delivery ports provide up to 60W each for compatible laptops, tablets, and phones, while two regulated USB-A ports support standard USB devices.
A built-in 110V AC outlet provides up to 100W for electronics that require a conventional plug, including some camera battery chargers and laptop power adapters. The outlet uses a modified sine wave inverter, so device power requirements and compatibility should be checked before use.
Wireless Charging and Onboard Cables
The top of the power bank includes a 5W Qi wireless charging pad for compatible phones and accessories. This allows a phone to charge without occupying one of the wired output ports.
Four cables are included for common devices: Lightning, micro-USB, USB-C to USB-C, and USB-A to USB-C. Short cables can be stored on the Sherpa for easier access while traveling.
Portable Power for Travel and Field Use
With a 94.7Wh battery capacity, the Sherpa 100AC is suited to air travel, remote work, photography, field assignments, and everyday backup charging. It can provide approximately eight smartphone recharges, up to three tablet recharges, or close to two laptop recharges, depending on device capacity and charging losses.
Airline rules and carrier requirements may vary, so approval should be confirmed before travel.
Flexible Recharging
The power bank can recharge through either USB-C Power Delivery port or through its 8mm input. A 60W USB-C source can recharge it in approximately 2.5 hours, while a compatible 45W wall charger takes about 3 hours.
The 8mm input also supports compatible Goal Zero solar panels and vehicle charging accessories. Solar charge times vary with panel size, weather, positioning, and available sunlight.
Display and Battery Management
The interactive OLED screen provides information about remaining battery capacity, incoming power, outgoing power, and active port settings. Built-in battery management provides charging and low-battery protection.
Goal Zero recommends recharging the battery every three to six months during storage to help maintain battery condition.
