Description
100W USB-C Laptop Charging
The USB-C Power Delivery port supplies up to 100W, allowing the Sherpa 100PD to charge many compatible USB-C laptops as well as tablets, smartphones, cameras, and other portable electronics. The same port accepts up to 60W when recharging the power bank.
With a compatible 65W USB-C wall charger, a full recharge takes approximately two hours. The wall charger is sold separately.
Multiple Ways to Charge Devices
The Sherpa 100PD provides wired and wireless charging from one compact unit:
- One USB-C Power Delivery port with up to 100W output
- Two regulated USB-A ports with up to 12W output each
- Wireless charging pad with up to 15W output
- Simultaneous charging and discharging support
This combination makes it practical for charging a laptop alongside phones, headlamps, cameras, or other USB-powered equipment. Wireless charging performance depends on the capabilities and positioning of the connected device.
Portable Power for Travel and Remote Use
The 94.7Wh battery can provide approximately eight smartphone recharges, up to three tablet recharges, or about one and a half recharges for a typical 50Wh USB-C laptop. Actual results depend on the device, battery condition, cable, and charging losses.
Its capacity is designed to remain within airline carry-on limits identified by Goal Zero, making it suitable for business travel, field assignments, camping, and remote work. The aluminum unibody construction helps protect the power bank during regular transportation and use.
USB and Solar Recharging
The Sherpa 100PD can recharge from a USB-C wall charger, vehicle USB source, or compatible Goal Zero solar panel equipped with a USB output. Goal Zero estimates approximately 9–18 hours with a Nomad 20 panel or 15–30 hours with a Nomad 10, depending on sunlight and environmental conditions.
Battery Information at a Glance
A color LCD provides clear information about the power bank’s status and operation. Integrated charging and low-battery protection help manage the lithium-ion battery during everyday use, travel, and storage. Goal Zero recommends recharging the unit every three to six months while it is stored.
