Spotlight and Floodlight Modes

The Torch 500 combines a focused spotlight for viewing objects at a distance with a broad floodlight for illuminating rooms, campsites, and work areas. Each light has low, medium, and high settings, and both can operate together when wider, brighter illumination is needed.

Practical uses include:

• Lighting rooms during power outages
• Camping and roadside emergencies
• Vehicle and household preparedness kits
• Outdoor maintenance and temporary work areas
• Charging a phone or headlamp when other power is unavailable

Weather-Resistant Construction

An IP67 rating protects the Torch 500 against dust, sand, and debris. It can also withstand immersion in up to 1 meter of water for at least 30 minutes, making it suitable for wet outdoor conditions and emergency storage.

USB and Solar Recharging

The light can be fully recharged from a USB source in approximately four hours. Its integrated 1.2W monocrystalline solar panel provides an independent charging option, though a complete recharge requires approximately 23–46 hours of suitable sunlight.

For faster solar charging, the Torch 500 can connect to a compatible Goal Zero panel such as the Nomad 10, which can recharge it in approximately 4–6 hours under favorable conditions.

Backup USB Power

The internal 18.7Wh lithium-ion battery supplies power to the lights and supports USB charging for small electronic devices. A regulated USB-A output provides up to 10.5W for phones, headlamps, and similar equipment.

Simultaneous charging and discharging are supported, allowing the Torch 500 to provide light or USB power while connected to a charging source.

Adjustable Runtime

Runtime varies according to the selected light and brightness level. Either the spotlight or floodlight can operate for up to 50 hours on low. With both lights at maximum brightness, runtime is approximately two hours.
