RF Signal Isolation

The bag uses two layers of GoDark proprietary RF-shielding fabric to block electromagnetic signals across a range of 200 MHz to 40 GHz. This covers common cellular technologies, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, preventing enclosed devices from transmitting or receiving through those connections while the bag is properly sealed.

The shielding fabric has been independently tested to exceed 100 dB of signal attenuation and has passed testing based on MIL-STD-188-125-2 for high-altitude electromagnetic pulse shielding.

Waterproof Outdoor Storage

An IPX7 waterproof rating allows the properly closed bag to withstand submersion in up to 1 meter of water for as long as 30 minutes. The roll-top closure, clear internal water skirt, and welded seams help protect electronics from rain, splashes, dust, and temporary immersion.

The bag is useful for kayaking, boating, hiking, camping, fieldwork, and vehicle emergency kits where equipment may be exposed to wet or dirty conditions.

Protective Construction

The outer shell is made from durable 600D polyester with a polyurethane face coating and thermoplastic polyurethane backing. This construction provides water and puncture resistance, while internal padding and a soft felt liner help protect both the stored equipment and the metallic shielding layers from repeated contact.

Carrying and Capacity

The 10-liter main compartment can accommodate several small devices or larger portable electronics, depending on their dimensions. A top grab handle, multiple D-ring attachment points, and a removable adjustable sling strap provide several carrying options.

For effective waterproofing and signal isolation, the top should be rolled tightly four times before securing the buckle.
