The Hughes HL1120W Non-Penetrating Mount with Tall Stanchion provides a fixed mounting platform for the HL1120W OneWeb LEO antenna without requiring holes through the roof or supporting surface. Its weighted base is designed for flat-roof and ground-level installations where penetrating fasteners are not preferred or permitted.
The tall stanchion raises the antenna approximately 27 cm above the mount interface, providing additional clearance compared with the short-stanchion version. The antenna extends over the ballast tray and must be installed with sufficient weight on both sides to stabilize the assembly.

Description
Non-Penetrating Installation
The mount rests on a suitable flat surface and uses ballast rather than anchors driven through the roof or platform. This makes it practical for commercial rooftops, temporary communications sites, remote facilities, and other locations where the supporting surface should remain intact.
Hughes specifies placing ballast blocks weighing at least 50 lb. on each side of the tray. The mounting surface and ballast arrangement must be capable of supporting the complete assembly safely under local environmental conditions.
Tall Stanchion Configuration
The included tall stanchion measures approximately 270 mm and weighs 1.74 lb. It provides greater antenna clearance than the 120 mm short stanchion, which may be useful when the terminal needs to sit above low obstructions or nearby rooftop components.
HL1120W Antenna Positioning
The blind-mate guide on the back of the HL1120W antenna seats into the stanchion and is secured using the supplied mounting hardware. Hughes instructs installers to position the antenna body so that it extends over the non-penetrating mount tray. The installation location must also provide the clear sky visibility required by the HL1120W terminal.
Fixed OneWeb LEO Deployments
This mount is intended for the Hughes HL1120W, a fixed, self-aligning electronically steered terminal designed for the OneWeb Ku-band LEO satellite network.
