The Hughes 9502 is built specifically for machine-to-machine (M2M) communications rather than traditional mobile broadband. It provides dependable IP connectivity over the Inmarsat BGAN satellite network, allowing remote equipment to transmit operational data regardless of terrestrial network availability.

Optimized for Low-Power Operation
One of the Hughes 9502's defining features is its extremely low power consumption. With idle power usage of approximately 1 watt and less than 20 watts during transmission, it can operate efficiently on solar-powered battery systems where energy availability is limited.

Flexible Two-Piece Installation
