Six-Bay Charging

The BC-211E provides six charging positions in a single desktop unit. Each position can accept a compatible radio with its battery attached or a supported battery pack on its own, allowing several radios to be prepared together rather than using separate chargers and power adapters.

The charger is useful for organizations that issue radios across:

• Remote offices and field teams

Compatible Radios and Batteries

The BC-211 is designed for the ICOM BP-271 and BP-272 lithium-ion battery packs. These batteries are used with compatible handhelds including the ICOM IP100H, IP501H, and IP503H.

Six AD-127 charger adapters are installed at the factory, so separate charging cups are not required for the supported battery configuration.

Charging Protection

A built-in protection circuit and charge timer help manage the rapid-charging process. The charger supplies 840 mA per supported charging circuit and operates from a 12–16V DC input provided by the included European AC adapter.

Centralized Radio Management

Using one multi-charger reduces the number of wall outlets and separate charging cradles required for a radio fleet. Radios can be returned to a central location after a shift, making it easier to check inventory and prepare equipment for the next team.
