Six-Radio Charging Station

The BC-214N SAT provides six charging positions in one desktop unit. Each bay can hold a BP-300 battery by itself or an IC-SAT100 with the battery installed, allowing several radios to be returned to service without managing multiple individual chargers.

Designed for the IC-SAT100

This configuration uses AD-140 charging adapters specifically for the BP-300 battery supplied with the ICOM IC-SAT100. Other BC-214N versions use different charging inserts, so the SAT configuration is important when ordering for an IC-SAT100 fleet.

Centralized Fleet Charging

A multi-bay charger is useful for organizations that issue radios across shifts or teams. Common applications include:

• Emergency and disaster-response equipment rooms
• Utilities, construction, and remote work sites
• Security and public-safety operations
• Transportation and logistics teams
• Government and organizational radio fleets

Keeping the radios together at one charging point also makes it easier to account for equipment and prepare devices for the next shift.

Charging Protection

The charger includes a built-in protection circuit and charge timer. Each installed battery charges independently, allowing batteries at different charge levels to be placed in the unit at the same time.

AC or Optional DC Power

The included BC-157S adapter powers the charger from a standard AC outlet. ICOM also identifies the optional OPC-656 DC power cable for installations that need to supply the charger from a compatible 12–16V DC source.
