Description
Power for Multiple BC-226 Chargers
The BC-228 supplies power to as many as six interconnected Icom BC-226 desktop chargers. This allows several compatible radios or battery packs to charge from one adapter instead of requiring a separate AC adapter for every charging position.
Single- or Multi-Charger Operation
The adapter may also be used with one BC-226 charger. For installations connecting two through six BC-226 units, Icom specifies the BC-228 as the required power adapter.
Worldwide AC Input
A 100–240V AC input range supports use with common mains-power systems in different regions. The appropriate outlet connection may depend on the supplied power-cord version and destination market.
