Description
Private Radio Communication
The HM-166LS routes received audio through a dynamic in-ear earpiece, helping users hear calls in noisy areas while limiting how much radio traffic is audible to nearby people. The inline microphone and PTT switch allow the radio to remain secured to a belt or carried in another convenient position.
Lightweight Carrying Design
A built-in tie clip secures the microphone and PTT assembly to clothing. At only 35 g, the HM-166LS adds little weight to the radio setup and is suitable for extended use during a work shift.

ICOM lists the HM-166LS for compatible radios including:

General-Purpose Construction
The HM-166LS does not have a waterproof rating. It is best suited to indoor and general work environments where the earphone microphone will not be exposed to heavy rain or immersion.
