Extension Cable for the AH-40 Antenna

The OPC-2422 is an ICOM coaxial cable designed specifically for the AH-40 satellite and GPS antenna. It extends the antenna connection by 5 meters, or 16.4 feet, allowing greater flexibility when selecting an antenna mounting location.

Vehicle and Building Installations

When used with an IC-SAT100 installation, the cable allows the AH-40 antenna to be positioned outside a vehicle or building while the radio remains in a more convenient operating location. The AH-40 is commonly mounted on a vehicle roof or placed outside a window to support satellite communication from enclosed locations.

System Compatibility

The OPC-2422 is compatible with the ICOM AH-40 antenna and is listed by ICOM for use with the IC-SAT100 and IC-SAT100M Satellite PTT systems. It may also be used as part of an IC-SAT100 installation involving the BC-247 docking station.
