ICOM MBA7 Vehicle Bracket Adapter for the BC-218

Secure Vehicle Installation

The MBA-7 connects the BC-218 charger cradle to an ICOM MBF-1 mounting base. This arrangement holds the charger securely in a vehicle while keeping the installed radio within reach of the driver or operator.

It is suitable for mobile teams using ICOM LTE radios in service vehicles, fleet operations, field coordination, security, and other applications where a radio needs to remain charged between portable use.

Designed for the BC-218 Charger

The adapter is made specifically for the ICOM BC-218 rapid charger cradle. The BC-218 supports compatible ICOM radios including:

• ICOM IP501H
• ICOM IP503H
• ICOM IP503H Lite

The charger can also be used with the optional HM-215 speaker microphone, allowing communication while the radio is docked.

Installation Components

The MBA-7 is the adapter between the charger and mounting base. A complete vehicle mounting arrangement requires:

• ICOM BC-218 charger cradle
• ICOM MBA-7 bracket adapter
• ICOM MBF-1 mounting base
• Compatible vehicle power cable or power supply

Power accessories should be selected separately according to the vehicle and charger configuration.
