Description
Push-to-Talk Headset Operation
The OPC-2328 provides the PTT control and radio connection required to use selected ICOM headsets with compatible handheld radios. Pressing the inline switch activates transmission, allowing the radio to remain attached to a belt or stored in another convenient position.
It supports the following ICOM headset styles:
- HS-94 earhook headset
- HS-95 behind-the-head headset
- HS-97 throat microphone headset
Compatible ICOM Radios
ICOM lists the OPC-2328 for use with compatible radios including:
- ICOM IP501H
- ICOM IP503H
- ICOM IP503H Lite
- ICOM IP504H
- ICOM IP510H
- ICOM IC-F200

PTT-Only Operation
The OPC-2328 is designed specifically for push-to-talk operation. For compatible setups requiring voice-activated transmission instead, ICOM specifies the OPC-2006LS VOX adapter cable.
Full-duplex communication is not supported with these headset combinations when used with the ICOM IP100H.
