Connection for the HS-102 Headset

The OPC-2359 provides the required connection between the ICOM HS-102 earphone headset and compatible handheld radios. It combines the headset adapter and transmission controls in one cable, allowing the radio to remain attached to a belt or placed in another convenient position.

Push or Toggle Transmission

The cable includes two operating controls:

• A conventional PTT button that transmits while pressed
• A toggle switch that changes between transmit and receive modes

A status indicator illuminates while the toggle switch is set to transmit, helping the user confirm the current operating mode.

Compatible ICOM Radios

ICOM lists the OPC-2359 and HS-102 combination for radios including:

• ICOM IP100H
• ICOM IP501H
• ICOM IP503H

On compatible systems such as the IP100H, the headset and cable can support simultaneous talk-and-listen communication similar to a telephone conversation. Available functions may vary by radio and system configuration.

Splash-Resistant Construction

The OPC-2359 carries an IPX4 rating, providing protection against splashing water from any direction. This makes it suitable for routine use in active indoor and light field environments, though it is not designed for immersion.
