Description
Remote Radio Operation
The HM-236 brings the radio’s speaker, microphone, and push-to-talk control closer to the operator. This allows the connected IC-M85 to remain attached to a belt or stored in a protected location while routine communications are handled from the shoulder-mounted microphone.
Eight-Position Rotary Clip
An integrated rotary clip can be set in eight positions, helping the microphone sit correctly when attached to a shirt, jacket, life vest, or equipment strap. This provides greater flexibility for different working positions and carrying arrangements.
Waterproof Construction
The HM-236 carries an IP67 rating, providing protection against dust and temporary immersion in water when correctly connected to compatible equipment. ICOM also notes that the effective waterproof rating corresponds to the radio to which the microphone is attached.
