Description
Dedicated C700 Pole Installation
The MC-0003 is designed specifically for the above-deck antenna unit used with the Intellian C700 Iridium Certus terminal. It provides a stable mounting platform when direct installation on a deck or other flat surface is unsuitable.
40A Pole Compatibility
The supplied bushing adapts the mount to a 40A pole measuring 48.6 mm in outside diameter. The mounting tube has an internal diameter of 52 mm and is secured to the pole using M12 socket set screws.
Antenna Mounting Pattern
The bracket aligns with the inner mounting-hole pattern on the bottom of the C700 antenna. Supplied M6 bolts, spring washers, and flat washers secure the antenna to the bracket.
Installation Requirements
The antenna and mount must be correctly aligned with the vessel’s bow direction. Intellian specifies applying Loctite 263 threadlocker to the fasteners and tightening them with a torque wrench. Cable routing should also allow for service loops, water protection, and access for future maintenance.
