Intellian MIM Multi-satellite Interface Module for DISH Network (M2-TD02)

Automatic DISH Satellite Switching

The MIM communicates with the Intellian antenna system and DISH receiver to select the correct satellite for the chosen channel. This allows users to change channels from the normal receiver remote without manually changing satellite settings through the antenna control unit.

The module supports DISH Network satellite groups including:

• Western Arc: 110°W, 119°W and 129°W
• Eastern Arc: 61.5°W, 72.7°W and 77°W

Supported satellites depend on the antenna, receiver, service configuration, and location.

Support for Four Receivers

Four DISH receivers can connect directly to one MIM. One receiver is selected as the master and controls which satellite the antenna tracks, while the remaining receivers can view programming available from that satellite.

Additional MIM units can be linked when more receiver connections are required. Intellian’s documented example shows two modules supporting up to eight receivers.

Check Switch and Program Guide Support

The module emulates the operation of a DISH Network DP34 multi-switch. It allows compatible receivers to complete the Check Switch function, verify reception, and download the full available program guide.

Marine Installation

The MIM is housed in an enclosure intended for protected onboard installation. It connects to the antenna control unit through an RS-232 interface and includes RF connections for the antenna system, receivers, and expansion to another module.

It can be powered by its included AC-to-DC adapter or from the DC power output on a compatible Intellian i-Series antenna control unit using the appropriate cable.
