Description
Computer Connection
The cable connects a compatible Iridium handset to a computer through a standard USB-A port. It can be used for supported device configuration, firmware maintenance, and data communication.
Iridium Data Access
With the required drivers, software, and an active Iridium service plan, the connected phone can provide a low-speed satellite data connection for tasks such as basic email and limited web access. These handsets are designed primarily for voice and messaging rather than modern high-speed internet use.
Iridium Extreme 9575 Setup
The Iridium Extreme 9575 does not accept the data cable directly. The cable plugs into the mini-USB port on a compatible Iridium Extreme accessory adapter attached to the bottom of the handset.
