Description
International Outlet Compatibility
The kit provides the regional plug formats needed to connect a compatible Iridium travel charger to several widely used AC outlet types. The appropriate adapter attaches to the charger before it is connected to the local wall outlet.
Included formats cover:
- United States and other Type A outlets
- Continental Europe and other Type C outlets
- United Kingdom and other Type G outlets
- Australia and New Zealand Type I outlets
Charger and Handset Compatibility
The adapters are designed for the compatible AC travel chargers used with:
- Iridium Extreme 9575
- Iridium 9555
- Iridium 9505A
The kit changes the physical wall-plug format only. It does not convert voltage, so the connected charger must support the electrical voltage and frequency supplied at the destination. Compatible Iridium travel chargers are designed for international AC input.
Replacement or Travel Accessory
This kit is useful when an original plug adapter has been lost or when several regional adapters are needed for travel. The compact pieces can be kept with the phone’s charging equipment without carrying multiple complete wall chargers.
