Description
Combined Iridium and GPS Antenna
The ASE-DA12 integrates separate Iridium and GPS antenna elements into a single fixed-mount housing. This supports compatible ASE systems that require both satellite communication and GPS reception without installing two separate exterior antennas.
Passive 12-Meter Installation
The kit uses passive antennas with two 12 m LMR-400 RF cables. It is designed for installations where the antenna can be mounted within 12 m of the docking station or terminal; longer cable runs may require a different ASE antenna configuration.
Maritime Fixed Mounting
The included mounting fixture supports permanent installation on a vessel or another fixed structure. The antenna should be placed where it has an unobstructed view of the sky to support reliable Iridium and GPS signal reception.
Compatible Satellite Systems
The ASE-DA12 is intended for compatible ASE Iridium docking stations and fixed terminals that use separate Iridium and GPS antenna connections. The exact dock and connector configuration should be confirmed before ordering.
