Combined Iridium and GPS Antenna

The ASE-DA20 integrates separate Iridium and GPS antenna functions into one exterior module. This supports compatible docking stations and fixed communication systems that require both Iridium satellite connectivity and GPS positioning through dedicated antenna connections.

Designed for Long Cable Runs

Two 20 m / 66 ft. LMR-600 cables connect the antenna to the installed equipment. LMR-600 is used to reduce signal loss over the extended run, making the kit suitable for vessels and facilities where the antenna must be mounted far from the communication equipment. Both cables use TNC terminations.

Fixed Maritime Installation

The antenna should be mounted at a high, rigid location with an unobstructed 360-degree view of the sky. Suitable positions may include a mast, rail structure, cabin roof, or another stable exterior mounting point away from major obstructions.

The included mounting fixture supports permanent installation, while the passive antenna design does not require a separate external antenna power source.

Compatible Iridium Equipment

The ASE-DA20 is commonly used with compatible ASE and Blue Sky Network Iridium docking stations, fixed-mount handset systems, and headquarters communication installations. The equipment must provide separate Iridium and GPS antenna ports compatible with the supplied cables.
