Iridium GO! data is measured by connection time rather than megabytes, so each data minute represents one minute connected to the satellite data service. The allowances above show the maximum usage available when the prepaid balance is used entirely for one service type.

Service Terms

6 Months Prepaid Service

No Monthly Contract

This prepaid plan provides service for six months once activated and does not require a monthly service contract. Any unused prepaid balance is subject to the applicable expiration terms at the end of the service validity period.

Usage and Billing

Voice and data usage on Iridium GO! prepaid service is deducted in 20-second increments. Text messages are deducted from the prepaid balance according to the applicable messaging conversion. Because voice, data, and messaging use the same prepaid balance at different rates, using one service type reduces the remaining amount available for the others.

Coverage

Iridium provides true global satellite coverage using a constellation of low-earth-orbit satellites. This ensures reliable connectivity across land, sea, and air — including polar regions — making Iridium one of the most comprehensive satellite networks available. A clear view of the sky is required for reliable satellite communication, and service may be affected by terrain, buildings, vessel structures, or other signal obstructions.

Iridium GO! provides satellite voice calling, text messaging, and low-speed data connectivity through supported applications. Data service is designed for optimized services such as email and weather information rather than general web browsing or other high-bandwidth internet use.

International Calling

Incoming calls dialed directly to the Iridium GO! number may be received without deducting standard incoming airtime, though the individual calling may incur international calling rates. Calls to other satellite networks or certain international destinations may deduct prepaid airtime at different rates.
