Iridium PTT 2.5mm (M) to 3.5 mm (F) Headset Adapter

2.5mm to 3.5mm Headset Connection

The male 2.5mm plug inserts into the supported Iridium headset port, while the female 3.5mm socket accepts a compatible wired headset. The adapter changes the physical connector size and does not require an external power source.

Use with Iridium PTT Equipment

The adapter is intended for PTT-compatible Iridium devices with a 2.5mm headset connection, including the Iridium Extreme PTT handset. The Extreme PTT supports both satellite phone and Push-To-Talk operation and includes 2.5mm headset capability.

Compatibility Considerations

This adapter is designed for wired headset connections. The headset’s plug and audio wiring must be compatible with the connected Iridium device; it does not add Bluetooth, amplification, or independent PTT controls.
