AC Power for Kymeta u8 Installations
Kymeta u8 terminals operate from DC input power. This kit converts power from a 120/240 VAC wall outlet into the DC output required by a compatible u8 terminal or ODU, providing a complete power solution for stationary installations.
25-Foot Installation Cable
The included power cable provides a total length of approximately 7.5 meters, or 25 feet. This allows the power supply to remain near an available outlet while the terminal is installed on a roof, mounting structure, or other location with a suitable view of the sky.
Outdoor-Rated Power Conversion
The power supply provides 24 VDC output with up to 600 watts of available power. The original U8ACC-00002-0 kit is rated IP67, helping protect the power equipment against dust and temporary water exposure when installed according to Kymeta instructions.
Installation and Compatibility
The kit is designed for supported Kymeta u8 terminal and u8 ODU configurations. Installation requires access beneath the terminal shroud so the supplied power cable can be connected to the internal power interface. Electrical connections and cable routing should be completed according to the Kymeta installation guide.
