The Intellian V5-3024 is a Mission Microwave Titan 200W block upconverter for compatible high-capacity maritime VSAT systems. It converts an L-band modem signal into a 13.75–14.5 GHz Ku-band uplink signal and provides 200W of rated saturated RF output. A 14.0–14.5 GHz standard Ku-band configuration is also supported.
Designed for maritime terminals and multi-carrier satellite gateways, the Titan provides up to 126W of single-carrier linear output or 100W under two-tone intermodulation conditions. Ethernet and serial monitoring interfaces support remote configuration and operating-status management.

Description
High-Power Ku-Band Transmission
The Titan Ku-200 covers the 13.75–14.5 GHz extended Ku-band uplink range, with a 14.0–14.5 GHz standard-band configuration also available. Its 200W rated output supports compatible systems carrying broadband data, voice, operational communications, and other high-capacity satellite services.
Rated and Linear RF Output
The BUC provides three useful output ratings based on how the satellite carrier is operated:
- Saturated output: 200W / +53 dBm
- Single-carrier linear output: 126W / +51 dBm
- Two-tone linear output: 100W / +50 dBm
The linear ratings are particularly important when evaluating usable transmit power for services that must meet spectral-regrowth or intermodulation requirements.
Compact GaN Design
Mission Microwave uses gallium nitride amplifier technology to reduce the size and weight of its high-power RF equipment. The current Titan Ku-200 weighs approximately 7.3 kg and measures 39.4 × 17.8 × 17.8 cm, making it considerably smaller than many traditional amplifiers in the same power class.
This compact design is well suited to stabilized maritime antennas where available space, equipment weight, and power efficiency affect the overall RF configuration.
Remote Monitoring and Control
The Titan supports Ethernet management through the Mission graphical interface or SNMPv3. A serial management interface is also available for integration with compatible antenna and terminal-control equipment.
These interfaces allow technicians and network operators to review operating status and manage the BUC without direct access to the antenna-mounted equipment.
