Complete Motorcycle and ATV Mounting Kit

Unlike the standalone AMPS cradle, this kit includes the arm, ball-socket assembly, and mounting hardware required to position the device on a compatible motorcycle or ATV. The adjustable connection allows the display angle to be set for practical viewing from the riding position.

Rugged Powered Cradle

The compatible Montana handheld snaps into the rugged cradle and can be installed in portrait or landscape orientation. The mount keeps the device secured and accessible for navigation on motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and other powersports vehicles.

Hardwired Vehicle Power

The integrated cable connects directly to the vehicle’s electrical system and supplies power to the mounted handheld. This reduces reliance on the device’s internal battery during longer trips. Garmin recommends installation by someone with suitable vehicle electrical experience because incorrect wiring can damage the vehicle, battery, or connected equipment.

Audio and Data Connections

The cable includes bare power, audio, and serial data wires. These leads allow compatible external audio equipment or vehicle electronics to be integrated when supported by the installed Montana handheld.

Montana 700 Series Compatibility

Garmin part number 010-12881-03 supports compatible Montana 700 Series devices, including the Montana 700, 700i, 750i, 710, 710i, and 760i. For models with inReach satellite communication, portrait mounting is recommended for optimal performance.
