Omni Directional Marine Antenna (OMNI-402)
Description
Wideband Cellular Connectivity
The OMNI-402 supports several frequency ranges between 410 and 3800 MHz, allowing it to work with a broad selection of cellular, CBRS, Wi-Fi, and machine-to-machine services. Its omnidirectional pattern receives signals from around the vessel or installation without requiring the antenna to be aimed toward a specific cellular tower.
Supported frequency ranges include:
- 410–470 MHz
- 698–2700 MHz
- 3400–3800 MHz
2×2 MIMO Performance
Two independent, vertically separated antenna elements are installed inside the same radome. When connected to both cellular ports of a compatible 2×2 MIMO router or modem, the antenna can support improved connection stability and data performance compared with a single-antenna setup.
Each antenna connection uses its own factory-installed 2 m HDF-195 cable with an SMA male connector.
Marine and Coastal Construction
The antenna is housed in a UV-stable marine-grade ASA radome and carries an IP68 water-ingress rating. It is also tested for salt-spray exposure and impact resistance, making it suitable for permanent outdoor installations exposed to rain, spray, sunlight, and vessel movement.
Flexible Mounting Options
The OMNI-402 includes a standard 1-inch, 14-TPI marine adapter and a stainless steel L-bracket for mounting on poles between 30 and 50 mm in diameter. It can therefore be installed on a standard marine antenna mount, mast, wall, or suitable pole.
Optional flat, ratchet, and rail mounts are available for installations requiring a different mounting arrangement.
Installation Considerations
The antenna should be installed vertically and as high as practical, with adequate separation from metal structures and other transmitting antennas. Both SMA cables should be connected to the corresponding cellular ports on a compatible 2×2 MIMO router.
