The OPC-2429 extends the connection between the IC-SAT100M and its supplied speaker microphone by 2 meters. This allows the microphone to be placed closer to the operator when the radio is installed under a dashboard, inside an equipment cabinet, or elsewhere away from the normal operating position.

This cable is intended specifically for use with the speaker microphone supplied with the ICOM IC-SAT100M. Using the correct ICOM extension cable helps maintain a straightforward connection between the microphone and satellite PTT radio.
