Protection for Field Equipment

The Pelican 1500 provides a protected enclosure for equipment that may be exposed to rain, dust, impacts, and rough handling. Its 16.75 × 11.18 × 6.12-inch interior can accommodate compact communication kits, electronic instruments, cables, power accessories, and other field equipment.

Watertight and Crushproof Construction

The case uses a solid-wall polypropylene body and polymer O-ring to create a watertight and dustproof seal. It carries an IP67 rating, indicating protection against dust and temporary immersion when properly closed. The rigid construction also helps protect stored equipment from crushing and impacts during transportation.

Pressure Equalization and Secure Closure

An automatic pressure-equalization valve balances air pressure while helping prevent water from entering the case. Easy-open double-throw latches hold the lid securely closed, while stainless steel padlock protectors allow compatible locks to be added when equipment must be secured.

Customizable Interior

The Pelican 1500 is offered in several interior configurations, including no foam, Pick N Pluck foam, and padded dividers. Foam-equipped versions allow the interior to be shaped around individual devices and accessories, helping reduce movement and contact between components.
